Stocks Of The Month: NKE, UA

A couple of consumables to close out the calendar :)


Nike (NKE)

Positives:
+$4.2B cash minus debt.
Massive operating free cash flow ($3.1B).
Dividend increased for 25 consecutive years, currently yielding 1.2%.

Negatives:
Somewhat expensive forward P/E of 22.
Mild profit and operating margins (10% and 14% respectively).
Low insider ownership (0.24%).


Under Armour (UA)

Positives:
Solid revenue growth (26%) and earnings growth (27%).
Undervalued market cap ($9B) vs. competitors Adidas ($18B) and Nike ($70B).

Negatives:
Mediocre profit margin (7%), operating margin (12%), ROA (13%) and ROE (17%).
Only $186M cash vs. $54M debt.
